"18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. 19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. 1 “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.

5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8 When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This is Jerin Bynum of the Remnant Triage Center and ATKN. It's actually been quiet and I'm not sure why, perhaps this is again a season of watching the chips fall where they may land. I know that we had a season of false witness and betrayal, which people are still recovering from.

In this time of reflection, my wife and I have met a local Ekklesia family to fellowship with. It was a blessing and a great experience. I also personally have spent a lot of free time fishing, while anticipating the arrival of my child (set to be due soon).

I would say this has been a calm before the storm moment, the world is about to lose its peace. It's obvious and so thick, you can feel the tension in the air, so with what little time we have left - enjoy this break. You may very well have missed a great opportunity to reflect as to where you stand with God before the stuff hits the fan.
